Where are you located?
We are located in Kingston, MA and shoot all over New England, however, that doesn’t limit the area we are willing to cover for your event!
How do I contact you?
You can call us at 617.365.9377, email or fill out our Contact Form. We are happy to meet, at a location of your choice, for a free consultation to discuss your needs.
What pricing packages are available?
We offer several standard Events Pricing Packages designed to meet a range of needs. We would be happy to explain my standard package pricing with you and will develop a custom proposal after a brief consultation.
How do I hire you for my event?
After a brief consultation, we will confirm our availability for your event date and discuss your specific needs. We will then send you a contract outlining our agreed upon expectations. To formally book us for your event, a 25% deposit of the total cost is required. Deposits are due along with your signed contract. Dan McHugh Photography can accept business/personal checks and cash as payments.
What type of equipment do you use?
We shoot with professional Nikon camera bodies and lenses to meet a wide range of needs in a variety of lighting situations.
Professional lighting and backdrops are also available as a mobile studio.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Yes. Our backup equipment includes professional quality Nikon camera bodies, lenses and lighting. Along with extra equipment, we always travel with extra batteries and memory cards. We always try to prepare for mishaps to you can focus on enjoying your event.
Do you shoot film or digital?
We shoot 100% digital and all post production work is done in professional editing software.
How much experience do you have?
Our photographers have a passion for photography and have many years of experience. We've been involved in photography off and on since childhood and our work has been published in newspapers, magazines, yearbooks, websites and more.
Will you travel outside of New England?
Yes, we are happy to travel to cover a wide variety of events. There is no travel fee for any events within 150 miles of Kingston, MA. If air travel or hotel stays are required for weddings outside that geographic area, the cost would be billed to you.
Will I be able to view my photographs online?
Yes, along with your family, friends and employees, you will be able to view your images and order prints and other merchandise online for one year. You will have a personalized link on our site to direct you to your event.
When will I receive the proofs of my event?
You will receive online proofs within 1-3 weeks of your event.
