What’s a Cake Smash? It’s a ton of fun, that’s what it is! We sit your child down in the location of your choice (inside or outdoors) with a cake, and take photos as they eat and demolish the cake. Most babies this age have never had the taste of cake before, so it makes for some great photos of their actions and facial expressions.

Our Cake Smash photography sessions are a great alternative to your standard 1 year old portraits. Cake smashes are a great way to celebrate a 1st birthday or really any birthday! You bring the baby, outfit and cake of your choice, we’ll create great memories of the special day while capturing your child’s true personality as he or she tastes something sweet for the first time.
Book a Cake Smash when your child is 10 months old if you would like to use the images for his/her 1st birthday party invitations, or take them on or around his/her birthday and use the images for Thank You cards.
Keep in mind Cake Smashes can be messy so be sure to pack a special bag just to put baby’s cake-covered clothes in, and a fresh set of clothes to change into once all cleaned up.
